15.	What is each family member's most valued possession? 
	Why?
	An old bicycle.

16.	What other possessions would you like to acquire?
	Soumana would like to have a motor to irrigate his garden; 
	one motorcycle for his trips to rebuild his first house where all 
	the family gets reunited. 

17.	What do you perceive as the signs of success?
	Money. Only work can bring about success.

18.	What decorative or heirloom objects do you own?
	The cups on the table, photographs, and the calendar

19.	Do you value new things or old things more? Why?
	We prefer new things. 

20.	What types of sacred objects are around the house?
	One old rifle, one old cuckoo wall watch, some old Koran 
	books, old sabres.

21.	Describe the kinds of clothing each family member owns.
	Soumana: Large "boubous," small "boubous," and African pants.
	Women: Bouses, large "boubous."
	Children: Pants, blouses, skirts, dresses, jumpers.

22.	Alcohol, tobacco, and firearms: Are they available and 
	what family members use them?
	No. When Soumana has some money he has tea.

	Soup (made with grain and rice) without milk or sugar.
